2026 CYA Tackle Football Registration is Open!!

Online registration for the Fall 2026 season is open!  https://www.chantillyyouth.org/registration

Your Fall 2026 registration status must be ACTIVE to participate in fitting, weigh-in, practice, and/ or play.

Welcome Ravens!!

We will hold a Parents and Players meeting on July 25th, 11 am-12 pm. We will weigh in each player to see what division they will play in. Also, we will discuss the upcoming season and where we need help. Please make this meeting important for us to be ready for when the season starts.

For those of you who haven’t registered, register through the portal, and we’ll see you on Saturday, July 25th for the meeting or on Monday, August 3rd for our first practice.  

Equipment:  

We will provide most of the gear needed:

· Jul 25th Saturday- Equipment fitting 12:00 to 3:00 pm at the CYA “Shed” Equipment Facility, 12504 Bennett Road, Herndon, VA

* You will need to get a practice shirt and cleats

Practice:

We’ll see you at the first practice on Monday, August 3rd.  For the first week (every night Monday through Friday), practice for all players / all teams are at Greenbriar Park, Field #5.

Practice is from 6 to 8 pm – but for your first practice please arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 to check-in and with the correct weight class.

For the first practice, every player should wear cleats, socks, shorts, and a t-shirt AND their issued helmet (with chin strap and mouthpiece).  No practice pants or shoulder pads for the first practice.

* For every practice, every player should hydrate (drink water) before arriving and bring a water bottle (16 to 64 oz.) filled with ice-cold water! *

 

Weigh-ins:

First, each player is required to have a valid, unexpired Child ID issued by the DMV - here is the link to the DMV website for more info:

Important Dates:

· Aug 3rd Monday - First day of practice!  6 - 8pm at Greenbriar Park, Field #5.

· Aug 8th Saturday - FIRST official weigh-in at MARSHALL HS, 9:00AM at Door #5

 (this is the ONLY FREE WEIGH-IN!), MUST HAVE DMV ID CARD

· Aug 15th Saturday - SECOND official weigh-in at MARSHALL HS - $30 late fee, cash only, MUST HAVE DMV ID CARD

· Aug 22 Saturday - THIRD weigh-in at MARSHALL HS - $40 late fee, cash only, MUST HAVE DMV ID CARD

· Aug 24th Monday - FCPS first day of school

· Aug 30th Sunday - FINAL weigh-in, Location- TBD, Time- TBD, $60 late fee, cash only, MUST HAVE DMV ID CARD

· Aug 31st Monday - Reduce from 5 to 3 practices per week.

· Sep 7th Monday – Labor Day holiday

· Sep 12/13 Sat/Sun - First regular season games

· Oct 24/25 Sat/Sun - Final regular season games

· TBD Mon/Fri - Playoff games (as scheduled)

· OCT 31st Sat - Playoff games

· Nov 7th Saturday – Championships
